If you wonder why am I writing in English now, I'd say that the issue that I'm going to talk about is very important to me, therefore I feel the need to share it in the most universal language, cheering for someone around this big world be touched by the video I will post.
The video Coalition of the Willing is one of the most cute and didactic medias referring to the contra culture revolution, global warming and open source tools...Its is perfect!!!!
I really believe that we have the strongest weapon ever imagined on hands. The internet and cyber culture provides everyone the power to contribute, participate and change this world. Just think easy, and realize how fast the information is being spread by means of relationship websites. Remember that the first information and help request from Haiti after the earthquake on 12th January 2010 came from Twitter. Seriously, the power of the internet in terms of connecting and making people even is giant. However, I guess this potential is not being used for the most relevant issues in terms of society, at least not yet .
Sounds utopic a enormous number of people that are not related between themselves to cooperate together in order to build wellness, justice, and a more equal and sustainable society for everybody. But if you think that people already do it in technological and informative terms (eg. Wikipedia, Linux, Open Office, etc...), the concept came from the ideal plan to a more concrete stage.
As the video shows, we have the main scope of the these ideas, the only thing is missing are the people wake up and participate using or developing the tools that will build the networks to transform our way of life.
